Meal Plan Monday – March 26 – April 1

Let me just tell you meal planning every week is for the pits. I can’t wait to get back to my normal every two weeks in April. Whew, I tried. I failed. Why fix something when it ain’t broke!

Terry and I snuck away to a friend’s lake house in Glen Shores last Thursday. We enjoyed some time alone and then my in-laws brought the girls out to spend the rest of the weekend with us. It was AHmazing. The goal for the weekend was to relax and refresh before our busy camp season kicks off. Relax we did. It was a dream.

Back to reality this gloomy Monday, but butterfly crafts brighten the mood a bit. Here’s what we’re eating this week.

Sunday  – Sunday Night Supper at Church

Monday  – Meatloaf + Sweet potatoes + Broccoli

Ingredients: 1 lb ground venison (or beef), 1 egg, ¼ cup onion diced, 3 splashes of Worcestershire sauce, ¼ bread crumbs, salt & pepper to taste


  1. In a bowl combine all ingredients. Work breadcrumbs in with your fingers. Add more bread crumbs for desired texture.
  2. Transfer mixture to a greased meatloaf (Bread) pan and cook at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Tuesday – Baked Chicken Flautas  from Jo Cooks

Wednesday – Butternut Squash Ravioli + baked bread + veggies

This is a package from Costco, giving it a shot.

Thursday – Venison Roast + carrots + mashed potatoes

Friday – Chili + Cornbread Casserole from Belle of the Kitchen

Saturday – Order Pizza or whatever us girls decide while Terry’s gone fishing!
