Kids love to help. Especially in the kitchen. By supper time, my patience meter isn’t always the highest…can anyone else relate…but this quick and easy meal is kid friendly and easy for little hands to help with.
If you have a picky toddler (let’s take a moment of silence for all of us Mama’s out there), this might be a great thing to try to get them excited to eat by their involvement in the preparation!
No need to make things difficult, just start with something basic like this easy Tortilla Pizza.
Start with a
partially eaten tortilla. We used whole wheat tortillas. Add a spoonful of marinara sauce and leave a little room around the edge of the tortilla bare (unless your child’s doing it, then expect the only bare thing left to be the space hidden underneath the pan :)).
Dump sprinkle on some mozzarella cheese and top it with your favorite toppings!
Spritz the top of each pizza with olive oil (or canola oil) cooking spray, this helps crisp up the top! Bake in a 425 degree oven for 5-7 minutes (just keep an eye on them) and enjoy!
